Five Star Hunting Club

The club is held with a five-year extended lease of 14,000 acres near Geary, Oklahoma. Only 80 miles from Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City, the ranch is easily accessible by commercial airline, automobile or private aircraft via a 5000 foot landing strip on the ranch grounds.

The former Groendyke Ranch was once home of the Grand National Quail Hunt and consists of 10-12 miles of riverbottom on the Canadian River in west central Oklahoma. For many years, the ranch was used solely for quail hunting, allowing other game to develop over time. This will insure hunters a place free from overhunting and stressed wildlife.

The ranch is home to quality whitetail deer and the waterfowl hunting is incredible. From late December through mid-January, some 8-10 thousand mallards flock to the ranch. The early duck season is also a good time for other species besides mallards. The ranch offers spectacular hunting of wild hogs, turkey and doves, as well. Stocked bass ponds frequently yield nice trophy bass. In the fall, one of the ponds is stocked with rainbow trout up to 5 lbs. so that hunters also have the option of trout fishing during the cold-weather hunting season.

The original game developed on the ranch was quail, and the quail hunting is first-class. Fly-pens holding 1500-2000 birds are kept full in order to stock quail pastures with birds to insure a perfect hunt. There are plenty of wild birds to hunt, as well. For those interested, pheasant and chukkar can be provided.

The ranch was leased in October 2007, at which time feeders, stands, four-wheelers and mules were put into place. The houses were furnished and equipped to make for comfortable quarters during hunting stays.

Guided Hunts:

14,000 free ranging acres for the during all of the Bow, Rifle and Muzzleloader Seasons. Oklahoma Hunting Licenses are required, all game laws and limits will apply. Stands, Feeders, and Food plots already in place.

HOG AND DOE HUNT SPECIAL - $500

2 days of hunting, 1 hog, 1 doe. Lodging and cleaning/care for game provided. Meals can be included for extra.

Rifle Hunts: 3 days of the regular deer gun season. 1 buck, 1 doe, 1 hog included. No trophy fees. lodging,
meals, non-alcoholic beverages, cleaning/care for game provided. $2500 per person

Muzzleloader Hunts: 3 days of the regular deer muzzleloader season. 1 buck, 1 doe, 1 hog included.
No trophy fees. lodging, meals, non-alcoholic beverages, cleaning/care for game provided. $2000 per person

Archery Hunts: 3 days of the regular deer Archery season. 1 buck, 1 doe, 1 hog included. No Trophy Fees. Lodging, Meals, Non-Alcoholic beverages, cleaning/care for game provided. Call for Available dates. $1000 per person

3 days of the regular deer Archery season. 1 buck, 1 doe, 1 hog included. No Trophy Fees. Lodging, cleaning/care for game provided. Call for Available dates. Meals not included. $1000 per person

Cull Hunts:2 days of the regular deer season. 1 eight point buck or less, 1 doe, 1 hog included. No trophy fees. lodging, meals, non-alcoholic beverages, cleaning/care for game provided. $1250 per person

Youth Hunts: 2 days during the special youth gun season. 1 adult/1 child. 1 eight point buck or less, 1 doe, 1 hog included. No trophy fees. Lodging, meals, non-alcoholic beverages, cleaning/care for game provided. A Great opportunity to take a youth hunting and fishing. $1000

Quail Hunts, Limits Guaranteed: One day, Meal included, cleaning/care for birds provided. 3 people or under - $350 per Hunter, 4 or more hunters - $250 per hunter. 2 day packages with meals and lodging also available, Chucker and Pheasants also available, Call for pricing and Availability.

Hog Hunts: 2 days, Lodging included. 2 hogs any size per hunter. No trophy fees. Cleaning/care for game provided. $350 per person

Duck Hunts: 1 day, meal included, cleaning/care for birds provided. (Lodging available at extra cost) $250 per person

Turkey Hunts: 2 days, 1 tom. Lodging and meals included. Cleaning/care for birds provided. $750 per person

Stocked ponds for when you are in between hunts or waiting for your hunting partner to bag there game included with every hunt. One pond is stocked with trophy rainbow trout after the second week in November.

Transportation form the airport or hotel can be provided. Game can be transported to a local Taxidermist if requested by the hunter.
